By blogger Bible Believer of Galatians 4. Originally posted here. Please remember that while the contributors to this website are united in our belief that there are problems with the teachings of Vision Forum, we come from a variety of diverse perspectives.

Vision ForumI examined Vision Forum here…but sadly they are just one organization in the over-all patriarchy movement. But I want you notice something in their teachings, how they make everything about CONTROL and POWER…

I found this teaching of theirs interesting:

7. The authority of fathers is limited by the law of God and the lawful authority of church and state. Christian fathers cannot escape the jurisdiction of church and state and must be subject to both. (Rom. 13:1ff.; Eph. 5:21; 6:4; Heb. 13:17; 1 Pet. 2:13ff.)

It is interesting to note they stick to the Catholic creeds {Nicene} along with the other Protestant daughters, as mentioned in the text, check out the link above.

The whole “You must SUBMIT to the CHURCH AND STATE” message, well we know who originated that one.

Now I want my readers to know their teachings are infusing elsewhere into Christianity, into SBC, fundamentalist churches and elsewhere…

They know the moral decay and collapse of society is working for them, with desperate hurting people wanting to turn to anything they think will work, but this time, they are like the Taliban, seeking after false religion for power and control.

Here’s more from that same Vision Forum link:

8. Family, church, and state are parallel institutions, each with real but limited authority in its ordained sphere. As the keeper of the keys of Christ’s kingdom, the church is the central and defining institution of history. As the primary social group, the family is the foundational institution of society. (Matt. 16:19; 18:18; Acts 4:19; 5:29; 25:11; Heb. 13:17; 1 Pet. 2:13ff.; Eph. 1:22-23; 1 Tim. 3:15)

Notice the phrase “keeper of the keys”? That is right out of the Catholic handbook, in fact the Pope teaches he is the keeper of the keys. The true key holder is Jesus Christ. Even if Jesus Christ speaks of giving the keys to the apostles, this does not mean false church authorities and those who wield power so unsparingly.

Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

And what is that church as being about the “central and defining institution of history” stuff about?

9. Every Christian father and family ought to be a submitted and committed part of a local church, subject to the authority and discipline of the church through its elders. (Heb. 10:24-25; 13:17)

More over-stressing of church authority.

They need to submit themselves to the righteousness of God.

Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Remember too the NAR preachers as well, are control freaks that seek absolute power…They teach they are ‘the new apostles” [hey just like Rome’s clergy] and also are part of the Shepherding movement that teaches absolute obedience as well to church and pastor. Many as I have exposed here in one example are absolutely occultic in their language and teachings.

These folks want and desire power, and they teach leadership above all else to their men, and the marriage of church and state.

C. Peter Wagner one of the top NAR [New Apostolic Reformation] folks, speaks of authority and DOMINION just as much as Vision Forum..

Since 2001, the body of Christ has been in the second Apostolic age. The apostolic/prophetic government of the church is now in place … We began to build our base by locating and identifying with the intercessory prayer movements. This time however we feel that God wants to start governmentally, connecting with apostles of the region. God has already raised up for us a key apostle in one of the strategic nations of the Middle East, and other apostles are already coming on board. Once we have the apostles in place, we will then bring the intercessors and prophets into the inner circle and we will end up with the spiritual core we need to move ahead for retaking the dominion that is rightfully ours.”

“In an apostolic network the person in charge of maintaining the DNA of the network is the lead apostle, who consults with those he or she chooses, and no one else.”

“See, the problem is, is that Satan has had too much of his way in our society because he has a government! And the only way to overthrow a government is with a government. It won’t happen otherwise.”

And definitely C. Peter Wagner is a supporter of Rick Perry…

Vision Forum

Now I want my readers to think on something with all these Dominionist groups–they are becoming more and more involved with politics, making the past days of the Moral Majority and other religious right look like nothing in comparison, Rick Perry just announced his candidacy for president. On Fanatic for Jesus, that blogger has outlined how she thinks he is the Bildenberger choice. We may both guess at that wrong but I think it’s a strong possiblity as well. Rick Perry and other politicians like Sarah Palin have been tied to the Seven Mountains Initiatives. This article “Rick Perry’s Army of God” discusses some of these ties.

But it’s the involvement of New Apostolic leaders that’s more telling about Perry’s convictions and campaign strategy.

Eight members of The Response “leadership team” are affiliated with the New Apostolic Reformation movement. They’re employed or associated with groups like TheCall or the International House of Prayer (IHOP), Kansas City-based organizations at the forefront of the movement. The long list of The Response’s official endorsers—posted on the event’s website—reads like a Who’s Who of the apostolic-prophetic crowd, including movement founder C. Peter Wagner.

C. Peter Wagner also of course supports Seven Mountains Dominionism…..

“Not only is Wagner one the founders of the International Council of Apostles, but he is also a chief advocate of Seven Mountains Dominionism, which holds that fundamentalist Christians should have control over all aspects of society, and a foremost proponent of ‘Spiritual Warfare.’ Wagner’s wife, Doris, is also an endorser of The Response. She is author of How To Minister Freedom, a collection of works that includes chapters on “Freedom From Homosexual Confusion,” “Freedom from Abortion’s Aftermath,” and “The Believers Authority over Demonic Spirits.”

One thing I know about too is that Rick Perry has supported Vision Forum before.

Perry has offered endorsement to a Vision Forum sponsored event

“Texas has long been fertile ground for independent filmmakers,” continued Perry. “ I applaud the artists for their passion and commitment to artistic excellence, and I commend the festival’s organizers and participants for their dedication and support for the arts….As Governor, I am pleased to extend greetings to all in attendance at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival, sponsored by Vision Forum Ministries.”

The festival will bring together a Christian worldview with the independent spirit of San Antonio for what will make for a memorable cultural event. “Anita and I send you best wishes for a wonderful festival,” commented Perry.”

Also you can examine some of these religious-political events, and how intertwined some of these folks are…Glenn Beck, Ted Nugent and the head of Vision Forum all at the same event? Well it happened….

The third event of the day—and the actual Tea Party—kicked off at 6:00 PM with a prayer and welcome by KSLR (AM 630) radio talk show host Adam McManus. The gathered crowd recited the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Gavin Carmona and Seth Alfaro, spiritedly joined Jean French in singing “God Bless America,” and listened intently as Julia Hayden of the SATP read “The Alamo: A Line in the Sand.” Next Glenn Beck returned to the stage and delivered some opening remarks, followed by Ted Nugent who led the crowd in singing the “National Anthem.” Other speakers, including Katherine Moreno, Edward Jaax, Phil Pepin, and Terri Hall, also addressed the crowd on various topics: the strength of America built upon legal immigration, the duty of citizenship, economic freedom, and the selling out of Texas. Doug Phillips, President of The Vision Forum, finally spoke on “Freedom at Risk.” Grammy-winning recording artist Steve Vaus closed out the evening at 8:15 PM with his song “We Must Take America Back.”

This all happened for the San Antonio Tea Party, which later at another event won the endorsement of Rick Perry…

On the one hand, the crowd of 5,000 had a truly memorable experience, with food, entertainment, outstanding speakers (including Governor Rick Perry, “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, former Navy SEAL and author Marcus Luttrell, and others), and fireworks capping the day. Governor Perry was proud to be the first to sign the SATP’s “Contract with the Constitution.”

Rachel Maddow is a liberal journalist so I’m using this video just for the information within it, watch with discernment, but notice starting at around the 4:00 minute mark who endorses Perry…

Wagner, Hagee, etc…it’s not good. She does present some interesting information about the support of the NAR for Rick Perry. Rick Perry oddly appears on the TBN address book.

Don’t think any of the other candidates or would be candidates are any better either, Sarah Palin has been tied to NAR, Michele Bachmann who won the latest Iowa straw poll has been as well. She definitely is with the Dominionists and the patriarchy movement, having signed that Marriage Vow, I described here.

One big spiderweb of deceit, seeking theocracy and using “Christianity” for power and control and their influences are now on a national stage!

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
